What you can do with it

- Forward a deal recap for Deal capture, or send a document to be processed.
- Capture hedge requests and broker fills from groups an admin routes. See Hedging.
- Start automations from group messages, and approve them from your phone.
Link your own number
1
Open your personal WhatsApp page
Go to Settings → Integrations, and under Personal, click WhatsApp. The page shows Mercora’s Bot number.
2
Add your number
Under Your numbers, enter your phone number in international format (for example +41 79 123 45 67) and click Link number.
3
Wait for activation
Your number shows Waiting for admin activation, then Active once a workspace admin activates it.
Use the Copilot on WhatsApp
Message Mercora’s number from your linked phone. It’s the same Copilot as on Home, with your own Mercora access. Ask the way you would there, for example “What’s the status of VCS-S-2026-0714?”.- Changes wait for your typed yes. There are no buttons on WhatsApp: the Copilot describes the change and acts only after you reply yes.
- Forward a recap and the Copilot asks “Should I create a deal out of this?”. Reply yes, or react with 👍, and it goes to the Inbox for review.
- Send a file (PDF, JPEG, PNG or Word) and it becomes a document, processed and reviewed in the Inbox like an upload. Upload spreadsheets in the app instead.
- A conversation starts afresh 24 hours after its last message.
Set up the workspace connection (admins)
Open Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp. The switch at the top turns WhatsApp on or off; while it’s off, Mercora ignores incoming messages.- Activate members’ numbers. Under WhatsApp integration, click a number’s status to switch it between Active and Inactive. Mercora only answers a number that a member linked and an admin activated.
- Route groups to workflows. Add Mercora’s number to the groups you want; it ignores every group you don’t route. Under WhatsApp Group Routings, map a group to
hedge-source(trader confirmations) orbroker-confirm(broker fills). Under Groups for automations, switch a group on to start the automations listening to it. Hedge groups stay with the hedge flow. - Set hedge rules. Commodity Hedge Rules sets how hedges are sized and where they are logged. See Hedging.
- Allow actions. Choose which of Find a group, Send to a member and Send to a group automations may use; sending always asks first, and never goes to a hedging group. See Control what Mercora may do.
Approvals on your phone
Switch on WhatsApp under Settings → Notifications. With your number linked and active, approvals and questions from automations that wait for you are sent to WhatsApp, each with a number to reply with. See Approve from your phone.Next steps
