Connect Google Sheets and Mercora keeps your desk’s shared hedge sheet up to date as part of the Hedging workflow, so nobody retypes each hedge and fill.
You need to be a workspace admin. The hedge sheet is used by the Hedging workflow, which needs the Hedging module.

Connect Google Sheets

1

Open the Google Sheets page

Go to Settings → Integrations and click Google Sheets.
2

Connect a Google account

Click Connect and sign in with a Google account that can open your hedge spreadsheets. Mercora works with that account’s access, so it must keep access to them.
3

Choose a spreadsheet

Click Select Google Sheet and pick the spreadsheet. Mercora checks the account can open it, then lists it under Registered spreadsheets. Repeat for each spreadsheet.
4

Use it on a hedge rule

Under Commodity Hedge Rules in Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp, pick the spreadsheet and tab for each rule. See Add hedge rules.
The switch at the top of the Google Sheets page turns it on or off for the workspace.

What Mercora writes

  • When an operator approves a hedge with Row appended to ticked, Mercora adds a row on the rule’s tab, with lots and price left blank.
  • When the broker’s fill is recorded, by someone or automatically if the rule has Attach broker fills automatically on, Mercora writes the lots and price into that row. It first checks the row is still the hedge’s row and still blank; if someone changed it, the fill waits on the hedge for you.
Mercora doesn’t change other rows or other spreadsheets.

Disconnect

Click Disconnect on the Google Sheets page and confirm. Hedges stop updating the sheet until you connect again: a hedge approved in the meantime with Row appended to ticked shows Sheet row append failed on its card.
